About me
Emily Stetzer & Lindsay Stetzer are two sisters with OCD and anxiety who stumbled into mindfulness the same way most people do: by needing it. They didn’t set out to become teachers — they simply started being honest about their own experiences, and discovered that the more openly they shared, the more others felt seen, understood, and less alone. Growing up, anxiety showed up differently for each of them. Emily lived with constant worry and self-doubt from childhood into college, while Lindsay was diagnosed with OCD at a young age and later struggled with intrusive thoughts and existential fears as a teenager. It wasn’t until years later that Emily learned she, too, had OCD — a moment that changed how they both understood the mind. Not as something to fix, but as something to soften toward. They believe mindfulness isn’t about becoming calmer or more “healed” — it’s about becoming more honest, more compassionate, and more connected to yourself and others. Their hope is that everyone who joins them walks away feeling a little lighter, a little less alone, and a little more at home in their own mind. About Presently: Emily and Lindsay are the co-founders of Presently Bracelets, a mindfulness-inspired brand that grew out of their own therapy experiences. What started as a personal search for reminders that didn’t sugarcoat hard feelings is now a platform focused on normalizing mental health conversations and helping people feel supported in their everyday lives.
