Karina - recently gifted with her spiritual name, TANMAY RADHA DEVI, by her spiritual teacher VedaJi, was originally based in Scotland, where she had her own successful Yoga business for over 20 years until 2021 when she married her America based Scottish husband John and moved to Atlanta GA. They bought over Giving Tree Yoga Center in Smyrna GA which they co-run with Tanmayi as the main teacher. Tanmayi is E-RYT 500 and RYS 200 and 300 classically trained in Hatha Yoga with influences from Iyengar, Sivananda, Mantra Yoga, Yin and Bhakti. She completed her 300hr Bhakti training in India with Raghunath Cappo and most recently trained in Transformation Breathwork with Alexa Shackelford. Tanmayi loves to weave the history of yoga through her classes, telling stories and talking about the deities. Every year Tanmayi leads a Yoga and Wellness charity event focused on 108 Sun Salutations which has grown into a full weekend of classes, speakers and workshops all raising money for local charities and supporting her school in South India. Tanmayi also leads many retreats in India, Spain, Turkey, Portugal Tuscany, Costa Rica and the UK, and The Bahamas in February 2026.
