About me
Lisa Bragaw, PharmD, E-RYT 500, is thrilled to be returning to the Berkshire Yoga Festival—this time as a presenter! Having been an enthusiastic participant in the festival’s first two years, she’s deeply honored to share her passion for integrative wellness and mindful movement with this vibrant community of yogis and seekers.
Lisa has been teaching yoga since 2008 and integrates her pharmacy expertise with an integrative and holistic approach to health. She specializes in Vinyasa, Yin, Gravity Yoga®, Yoga Trapeze®, and SUP Yoga, and is fully Yoga Tune Up® certified (Roll Model Method®, Yoga Tune Up®, Body by Breath®). She’s also a MELT Method® Hand & Foot Instructor, TRX and cycling trained, and an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and Breath Coach.
In addition, Lisa is a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher and incorporates elements of Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine and Anodea Judith’s Chakra work into her classes and healing sessions. Her other influences include Jill Miller, Seane Corn, Tiffany Cruikshank, Patrick McKeown, Gil Hedley, and Leslie Kaminoff—teachers who have deepened her fascination with the interplay between anatomy, energy, fascia, meridians, and breath.
Lisa’s mission is to empower students at every stage of life to expand not only their lifespan but their health-span—cultivating strength, resilience, and vitality through mindful movement and breath. She is especially passionate about guiding peri- and post-menopausal women through practices that complement both medical care and everyday life.
Lisa is the owner of Zen & Now Wellness Center in Niantic, Connecticut, where she fosters community through yoga, fitness, and integrative health. She lives in a cozy beach community in southeastern Connecticut with her husband and is the proud mom of three amazing grown sons.
