Good for All Levels, Start your day slow and steady and prepare your body for a day of "festing" with this joyful, healing, yin practice. Yin yoga consists of a gentle warm up followed by finding comfortable stretches you can hold for longer periods of time with mindful breathing. It's a great way to check in with your body and focus your energy for the day. Jyll Hubbard-Salk, founder of the iconic Urban Asanas in Brooklyn has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and seeks to create a space in her class where "the yoga feels like home."

Come experience the delicious, comforting, transformativepractices of restorative yoga and meditation.We will begin with calming breathwork to ground you after a busyday of yoga! Then into a restorative yoga practice, a process ofmoving into a quiet state of being, away from the normal activityof the body and mind. You will channel the energies of the body -wind, blood, lymph- in specific ways that engender a deep senseof relaxation and rejuvenation.Some simple stretches will follow as a bridge back up to sitting.A short, silent meditation will complete this quietly powerfulevening session of gently gathering yourself together.
